What makes Regal grading different?

Regal has maintained a consistent recognizable standard of grading for 39 years. We know that international certificates have changed the severity of their grading standards, and that there are variations in the quality of certificates originating from the same well-recognized laboratory.

Regal Imports was one of the first companies in Canada to adopt the GIA grading standard. This was 39 years ago when diamonds were sold using vague and uninformed terminology. We have not varied from those standards in 39 years, although it seems that our teachers have altered their standards.

At Regal Imports we sell only the cream of GIA certificates. The buyers at Regal Imports are trained to grade using the simple motto that if they personally would be unhappy buying a particular diamond at a certain grade then that grade must be wrong. There are good VS2s and there are bad VS2s; at Regal Imports a bad VS2 is an SI1. Our solid reputation for being the toughest graders in the industry speaks for itself. Regal Imports... "Protecting your reputation by not compromising standards."
